The Point is the UK’s first Hybrid Mobile Youth Centre.

We took a "retired" London bus and adapted it to high-tech specifications to provide both vocational and non-vocational training facilities.

The result is a safe, educational and inspirational meeting place for teenagers.

Through after-school clubs and evening events, about 12,000 contacts with young people are made each year in 20 targeted youth “hot-spots” within the borough.

Encouraging youth
The bus can be configured to seat up to 18 young people and is designed to encourage and promote group discussion, individual coaching, advice and support.

The Point also offers outside

activities including mobile skateboard ramping, five-a-side football and touch rugby equipment.

The bus has fully retractable fitted awnings, external lighting and a mobile audio system for outdoor music, performances and sporting events.

The bus has a catering facility and full disabled access.
